Room on My Shelf
What's On Your Shelf?
Shelf Conversations is a spiritual storytelling and community movement helping people make room for the emotions, memories, dreams, and stories they were taught to carry alone.
Shelf Conversations helps people unpack what they have carried in silence and create room for healing, purpose, love, and community.
The Movement
Make room for what you've been carrying.
Room on My Shelf began with a poem — written before the book, before the movement, before any of this had a name. That poem became the emotional seed for everything that followed.
Today, Shelf Conversations is the space where that message becomes reflection, conversation, community, and transformation. We exist to help people move from emotional storage to emotional freedom — through intimacy, grace, remembrance, and love.
"We envision a world where people no longer hide their stories, silence their emotions, or carry life's burdens alone."
The Shelf Assessment
Discover what you've been carrying.
The Shelf Assessment is a reflective tool — not a clinical diagnosis. It is designed to help you begin an honest conversation with yourself. In about 10 minutes, you'll gain clarity on what's on your shelf and where to begin making room.
01
Emotional Storage
What emotions, memories, or stories have you been taught to carry alone — and what has that cost you?
02
Permission to Feel
Where in your life have you been told to suppress, silence, or shrink what you truly feel?
03
Making Room
What would it look like to finally set something down — and create space for healing, purpose, and love?
The Shelf Assessment is a reflective tool, not a clinical diagnosis. It is designed to help you begin an honest conversation with yourself.

What people are saying.
"I didn't expect to feel anything from a quiz. But the results hit closer to home than I thought they would. It was the first time I actually sat with it."
"I've been carrying a lot for years. This gave me language for things I didn't know how to say. That alone was worth it."
"It's not therapy. It's not a lecture. It just asks you honest questions and lets you think. I needed that."

Your story isn't over. And you don't have to carry it alone. It starts with one honest question — and the courage to answer it.
